Wellness Clinic
Each month, our Residents can take part in an onsite Wellness Clinic, during which their blood pressure, weight, gait and posture are evaluated.
Marian Hall Residents participate in the Second-Floor Lounge starting at 8:30 a.m.

Wii Bowling in Marian Hall
Things get pretty competitive when we gather in the Marian Hall Second-Floor Lounge each Wednesday afternoon for Wii Bowling. Residents use a motion-activated controller to play virtual games of bowling on our Wii video game system. Not only do we have a blast, but it’s also good exercise!

Summer Serenade
With the popularity of Sam Rice’s weekly Classical Music Appreciation sessions, he has added a special offering for summer. In these weekly Summer Serenade gatherings, Sam will share more mellow, impressionistic classical pieces. The music is both relaxing and nurturing for the brain. Please join us on Wednesday evenings in the Marian Hall 3rd-Floor Lounge.

Summer Picnic & Staff Olympics
Summer is here, and it's time to celebrate! That's why we are hosting our fourth annual summer event, featuring our Hilltop Olympics and a family picnic outdoors near our main entrance. Employees (all shifts) and Residents are cordially invited to join us on Thursday, July 17 (raindate is Friday, July 18). The food and fun will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run into the afternoon.
Residents may invite up to three guests. The event is free for employees and Residents and $10 for guests (including lunch). Enjoy picnic fare, including hot dogs and hamburgers, while watching our staff square off in fun, friendly competitions. Among the events will be the popular Wheelchair Race, followed by some other entertaining outdoor games. Family members are welcome to participate in the Olympics, as well.
The RSVP deadline is July 7. Residents are automatically RSVP'd to the event, as it will include our lunchtime meal for the day. Employees and family members should RSVP at the Reception Desk by July 7. The $10 guest fee may be paid by cash or check at the Reception Desk.
The event will be held entirely outdoors. Please dress accordingly, including sunscreen.

4th of July Celebration & Birthday Party
We will celebrate Independence Day a little early, along with our July birthdays. The red, white and blue fun is set for 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, in the Dining Room. This month will feature live musical entertainment by Hey Joe!
