Financing Options

The determination of an individual's need for personal care falls primarily with the individual and his or her family members. Often medical advice on this matter is received from personal physicians or other health-care professionals who are familiar with the individual's needs.

Residents pay for their care at Mt. Assisi Place through a variety of methods, which fit into three major categories.

Private Financing: Individuals often have the personal financial resources to pay for all or part of their needed care.

Private Insurance: Some individuals have previously purchased long-term-policies, offered by some insurance companies, that subsidize all or part of their cost of care.

Government Programs: Some individuals are eligible for aid provided by local, state, and federal government agencies.

Most Residents at Mt. Assisi Place are fully self-supported through their own assets. Personal insurance, long-term-care insurance, and social security benefits do help support the stays of certain individuals. Because Mt. Assisi Place is licensed as a personal care facility, our Residents are not eligible for Medicare support for financing their stays.

If you are in need of the care provided by Mt. Assisi Place, please contact us to arrange a visit. While you are here, we would be happy to discuss your unique financing arrangements.

If you or a family member would like to apply for residency now or for the future at Mt. Assisi Place, an application for admission is available by clicking the button below. Please print it, complete it, and forward it to us. Don't wait to apply, even if you believe your need will not be until sometime in the future. Once you are on our list, you will stay on it, even if you find you don't need admission when openings are available.
